Based in Rayleigh, you will be joining an industry-leading technology company that specialises in the manufacture of payment systems. Due to a change of market and a drastic increase in business, the company is now seeking an innovative and experienced electronics-based Research & Development engineer to join their R & D team. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support the design and development of RFID Products
- Support the manufacturing team in the industrial scaling up of technology and following processes.
- Support full lifecycle design processes
- Procure and test products and new innovations from industry partners, integrating where compatible in development workflows.
- Design and prototype RFID inlays using embedded wire technology.
This is just a summary of duties, and other responsibilities will be required.
Skills & Experience required:
- Degree in Electronics, Physics or related discipline
- Experience with RFID systems and applications
- Strong understanding of core electronic principles
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., VNAs)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Motivated to bring new ideas to a small growing team
