We are working with an established engineering company seeking a versatile Design Engineer to support projects within the water and civil infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in civil and mechanical detailing, comfortable with project ownership, and ready to thrive in a close-knit, dynamic design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from civil engineering drawings with precision
- Produce detailed civil layouts and reinforcement drawings
- Develop bar bending schedules and concrete accessories documentation
- Specify appropriate concrete and material mixes based on engineering standards
- Interpret Ground Investigation (GI) data for foundation and structural considerations
- Apply knowledge of shutter and formwork design
- Collaborate on wider mechanical design packages as workload demands
