Your new role
As Production Engineer, you\’ll be at the heart of a dynamic manufacturing operation, driving process efficiency, product introduction, and strategic improvement projects. You\’ll work cross-functionally to refine workflows, introduce new products seamlessly to the shop floor, and lead ergonomic initiatives that uplift productivity and safety.Key areas of focus will include:
- Optimising production processes and supporting new product integration
- Enhancing workplace ergonomics and designing tooling for operator comfort
- Coaching and mentoring shop floor staff in engineering best practices
- Supporting long-term cost reduction through lean methodologies and data-driven analysis
- Conducting root cause investigations and leading cross-functional problem-solving initiatives
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Creo CAD and Windchill PLM systems
- Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows and design for manufacture
- Excellent coaching, problem-solving and cross-departmental communication skills
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and ergonomic assessments
