Your new company: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, repair and safe operation of plant and equipment at a site in Kings Lynn. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and fault-finding to ensure all equipment remains compliant, reliable and efficient.

Your new role: On joining the team, you will carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive maintenance where required. You will:

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on port equipment such as cranes, forklifts, loaders and conveyors.
  • Help with electrical installations and estate-wide electrical works.
  • Work safely at all times and take part in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team, contractors and operational staff.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience working on industrial or heavy-plant equipment.
  • Confident using basic IT (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 from Monday to Thursday and 08:00-15:30 on Fridays, with a standby rota in place where call-out hours are paid as overtime.
