Your new company: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, repair and safe operation of plant and equipment at a site in Kings Lynn. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and fault-finding to ensure all equipment remains compliant, reliable and efficient.
Your new role: On joining the team, you will carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive maintenance where required. You will:
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on port equipment such as cranes, forklifts, loaders and conveyors.
- Help with electrical installations and estate-wide electrical works.
- Work safely at all times and take part in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
- Work closely with the Engineering team, contractors and operational staff.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience working on industrial or heavy-plant equipment.
- Confident using basic IT (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Full UK driving licence.
