Your new company

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, repair and safe operation of plant and equipment at a site in Kings Lynn. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and fault-finding to ensure all equipment remains compliant, reliable and efficient.

Your new role

  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive maintenance where required.
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on port equipment such as cranes, forklifts, loaders and conveyors.
  • Complete checks before starting work, follow procedures and keep equipment compliant.
  • Help with electrical installations and estate-wide electrical works.
  • Find faults and safely get equipment back up and running.
  • Work safely at all times and take part in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team, contractors and operational staff.

What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Time-served electrician.
  • Experience working on industrial or heavy-plant equipment.
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Confident using basic IT (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good fault-finding skills and a methodical approach.
