We are partnering with a national business to support the ongoing expansion and redevelopment of several key sites across East Anglia, for which they require an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead projects across multi-sites across Suffolk and Norfolk, but Ipswich based day to day.

The Project Engineering Manager leads the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. This role bridges engineering leadership, project management, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong emphasis on civil engineering principles and multidisciplinary collaboration.

  • Oversee end-to-end engineering activities across multiple engineering projects.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate geotechnical, structural, environmental, and infrastructure design inputs.

Project Management experience within engineering/civil engineering industries, with proven experience of managing multiple projects across all aspects of the project lifecycle. Strong commercial acumen and working knowledge of forms of contract. You will have strong, strategic, innovative and analytical skills.
