Based in Peterborough, you will be joining the UK's leading water/clean water equipment and processing manufacturing business, who now, due to continued growth, are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Installation of electrical systems
  • Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and extra-low voltage electrical circuits
  • Preparation and termination of electrical circuits
  • Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues
  • Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and relays
  • Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically

Skills & Experience required:

  • City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (mandatory)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations would be highly beneficial
  • Experience in industrial electrical works
  • Experience wiring and fault-finding PLC controlled equipment
  • Ability to work alone or within a team environment
