Based in Peterborough, you will be joining the UK's leading water/clean water equipment and processing manufacturing business, who now, due to continued growth, are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Installation of electrical systems
- Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and extra-low voltage electrical circuits
- Preparation and termination of electrical circuits
- Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues
- Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and relays
- Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically
This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.
Skills & Experience required:
- City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (mandatory)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations would be highly beneficial
- Experience in industrial electrical works
- Experience wiring and fault-finding PLC controlled equipment
- Ability to work alone or within a team environment
