We are an established, specialist manufacturer with over 30 years experience producing high-value, precision-engineered sporting firearms. All products are designed in-house and manufactured to exceptionally high standards. We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join our team, working in a modern, well-equipped environment on low-volume, high-precision components.
The role:
- Machining complex parts to extremely tight tolerances
- Working on small batches and one-off components
- Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning centres
- Supporting continuous improvement in quality and processes
Our workshop:
- Excellent working environment
- Modern CNC machines including 5-axis Mikron, 5-axis Index, Mazak and Mori Seiki
- Clean, organised, high-spec facility focused on quality, not volume
What we're looking for:
- Experience in precision machining or toolmaking
- Ability to work to micron-level tolerances
- A strong eye for detail and pride in high-quality work
- Background in aerospace, motorsport, medical or similar precision industries beneficial
What we offer:
- £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and capability
- 38-hour week: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-14:30
- Optional overtime available
- No high-volume production work
- Ongoing training and upskilling, including CAD/CAM and 5-axis machining
- Opportunity to develop traditional craft skills alongside modern CNC machining
