Control Systems Project Engineer

Due to continued growth, ESNE are recruiting an experienced control systems design engineer to join our team on Teesside.

The position will involve delivering projects from initial tender/design concept through to commissioning.

The Role

• Prepare and issue quotations from initial enquiry.
• Managing and owning projects.
• Design of control systems to UK & CE regulations/standards.
• Design of control systems to client specification.
• Liaise with clients throughout the project with the flexibility to adapt to change.
• Produce wiring schematics and general arrangement drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• Design of MCCs, LV switchgear, PLC systems, instrumentation/process systems, and safety systems from concept.
• Produce and issue project documentation.
• Specify and procure project materials and equipment.
• Carry out site surveys and assess project requirements.
• FAT testing of completed assemblies.

Requirements

• Educated to ONC/HNC or degree level.
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Instrumentation & Machine Safety applications.
• Flexible approach required to deliver projects on time with occasional overtime and weekends available.
• EPLAN /AutoCAD experience beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
