As EPS continues to grow, we’re searching for a driven and experienced Power Systems Engineer to join us.

Job Summary

To deliver leading-edge technical consultancy in Power Systems Analysis and Electrical Engineering and Design. The base location will be at our office in Teesside supporting customers in the Renewables, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Utilities and Energy sectors. The role may require the occasional plant surveys at onshore and offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Undertake high-quality detailed electrical design projects, encompassing calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, and specifications for LV and HV electrical equipment.
  2. Leverage ETAP and DIgSILENT for load flow, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and more.
  3. Represent the company professionally in all interactions, fostering strong client relationships and achieving project objectives.
  4. Lead continual improvement processes within the electrical engineering function, and mentor junior engineers.
  5. Take full ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control.
  6. Interpret client requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical standards and regulations.

Qualifications/ Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  2. Extensive experience in power system design and engineering. (FEED experience preferable).
  3. Familiar with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other international electrical standards and best practices.
  4. A track record of technical leadership on EPC-type projects
