Due to continued growth, EPS is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Engineering Team in Teesside.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to gain hands‑on experience with a leading electrical consultancy. You will support projects in Power Systems Analysis, Arc Flash, and Electrical Engineering, working closely with our Lead Electrical Engineer, who will provide full training and mentorship.
While primarily office‑based, occasional travel within the UK may be required to support clients across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, and Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of electrical engineering projects across onshore and offshore sectors.
- Undertake electrical design, specifications, and data sheets for LV and HV equipment.
- Use ETAP software to perform load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, motor starting, and arc flash.
- Assist with soil resistivity tests and site surveys alongside senior engineers, acting as a client‑facing representative.
- Interpret client requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
- Prepare clear, high‑quality technical reports and present findings to clients.
- Contribute to project delivery either independently or as part of a team.
- Support business development by building client relationships and contributing to proposals.
What We’re Looking For: Electrical Engineering Background
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer with a minimum 2:1 degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognised university. You should have a good knowledge and understanding of onshore and offshore electrical engineering within sectors such as oil & gas, power distribution, wind energy, manufacturing, and petrochemicals. These skills will be further developed through the EPS mentoring programme.
You should be proficient in using spreadsheets for engineering calculations and analysis, and demonstrate strong problem‑solving ability with the confidence to support clients as part of a world‑class consultancy. Experience with complex power system modelling software would be an advantage, though full training will be provided.

Training & Development
One‑to‑one training will be provided by an experienced Chartered Electrical Engineer to support your professional development. EPS will also deliver structured training in ETAP, DIgSILENT, and PSCAD power system modelling software, equipping you with the skills to perform complex engineering calculations and simulations.
Where required, Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training BOSIET may also be provided to prepare you for offshore project work.
