Senior Gas Engineer required for our client, a well-established and highly respected mechanical services contractor local to Ipswich, specialising in heating, ventilation, electrical, renewable energy, and air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic environments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer who is domestic and/or commercial gas qualified to join their expanding team. The successful Lead Gas Engineer will attend a variety of commercial and residential sites throughout Ipswich and the surrounding areas, carrying out servicing, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding works on heating and mechanical systems.
Senior Gas Engineer Responsibilities:
- Service and repair commercial heating systems, including boilers, pipework, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Attend reactive breakdown works, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
- Assist with installation projects as and when required.
- Carry out repair and maintenance works on domestic heating systems within care homes and large residential properties.
- Work across a range of sites including local authority buildings, schools, care homes, leisure centres, offices, and commercial facilities.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and health.
