- Domestic Air Conditioning Engineer Responsibilities
- Install domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems, including split and multi-split systems
- Carry out service, maintenance, and fault-finding on domestic AC systems
- Complete system upgrades and energy efficiency improvements
- Commission and test new installations
- Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service in private domestic and light commercial properties
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations
- Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with the office team
- Domestic Air Conditioning Engineer Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in air conditioning
- F-Gas certification essential
- Experience working on split and multi-split systems essential
- Experience with heat pumps or ventilation systems advantageous
- Electrical knowledge or relevant electrical qualifications advantageous
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving ability
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach with customers
- Positive, proactive attitude with pride in delivering high-quality work
- Full UK Driving Licence
