Our Client is a Commercial Heating Contractor based in Leeds. They specialise in industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suite of plant room re-fit, service, and repair works. The Pipefitter will work on plant room upgrades and commercial heating installation work on sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on occupied commercial and industrial properties carrying out plant room replacement work and occasionally commercial new builds.
- Responsibilities include pipework installation and replacements, installing radiators, cylinders, hot water systems, pumps, booster sets, boilers etc.
- 1st and 2nd fix of commercial clean water plumbing systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend steel and copper pipework.
- Installation of mechanical plant room in commercial sites.
- Occasionally overseeing other engineers/installers and ensuring work is complete to a high standard.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heating and Ventilation.
- ACS Commercial Gas Tickets - desirable.
- Based in the Yorkshire area.
- Full UK Driving License.
Remuneration:
- Salary £46,000 - £60,000 (£20-£23ph PAYE or £28-£30ph Sub Contract).
- Travel Pay (After 15 mins).
- Overnight allowance of £35 per night.
- Overtime available.
