Our Client Domestic Gas Engineer required for our client, a reputable electrical and mechanical contractor based in the Shaftesbury area. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an additional Domestic Heating Engineer to their team.

Domestic Gas Engineer Responsibilities

  • Attending sites mainly throughout Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset
  • Working across private residential properties
  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining domestic heating systems
  • Participating in an on-call rota to attend breakdowns
  • Testing controls and safety devices to ensure they are operating correctly
  • Working in line with company procedures and gas safety regulations

Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements

  • Ideally based within a commutable distance of Shaftesbury
  • Proven experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer
  • ACS Domestic Gas Certification (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT)
  • Full UK driving licence

Domestic Gas Engineer Remuneration

  • Salary 40,000 - 50,000
  • Company van, including personal use
  • Overtime available
  • Working hours Mon - Fri, 8:00 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Sick pay after completion of probation
  • Training and development opportunities
