Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, a well-established and growing mechanical services contractor specialising in water hygiene, commercial gas, HVAC, and plumbing maintenance across a range of commercial and industrial environments. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. Operating across a variety of commercial sites, the successful engineer will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and installation work across commercial gas appliances, plant room equipment, plumbing systems, and associated HVAC systems.
Commercial Gas Engineer Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on commercial gas appliances including boilers, heating systems, and associated plant.
- Testing, purging, and commissioning of commercial gas pipework in accordance with current standards.
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including hot and cold water services, calorifiers, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Working on plant room equipment including valves, expansion vessels, and distribution systems.
- Carrying out HVAC-related works where qualified, including basic maintenance and fault finding on air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Supporting other engineers and assisting with larger projects where required.
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with current regulations and health & safety standards.
