We are looking for 2x Riggers to work within our food site based in Wrexham. You will have previous rigging experience and be used to working with lifts, hoists and slings.
Key responsibilities:
- Setting up and dismantling rigging: set up, operate, and dismantle rigging equipment, including chains, ropes, slings, hoists, and cranes.
- Assessing and planning lifts: analyze and plan complex lifting operations, including selecting the right equipment for the specific load and task, according to company procedures and safety standards.
- Securing and controlling loads: attaching slings and other rigging to loads, securing them properly, and guiding them during movement to ensure a safe lift.
- Ensuring safety: maintain a safe working environment by following safety policies, inspecting equipment regularly, and being aware of potential hazards.
Working 11 hours per day, 7 days per week (8 hours per shift weekends).
