URGENT IMMEDIATE START We are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter with fabrication/welding experience to carry out maintenance and repairs on a busy quarry aggregate site. Basic knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics is preferred. Basic electric knowledge would be beneficial. Previous lorry or train technician experience would be considered. This will be a physically demanding job in a dusty/dirty environment. You must have a NVQ level 3 in welding /fabrication plus Loading Shovel and Machine Operator to NVQ level 2. Person Specification * A highly motivated individual with drive and enthusiasm * Ability to work as part of a 7 day a week operation as required. * Experienced fitter who is also skilled in welding, cutting and fabricating techniques with tech qualification, NVQ3 or equivalent. * Excellent communication and team working skills * Ability to plan and implement maintenance schedules and good working knowledge of engineering drawings. * Good understanding of health and safety including environmental * Good organising skills * IT literacy and ability to work to deadlines. * Ability to work flexibly. Hours and Work Pattern 40 hrs per week @ £17/hr 6:30 am – 3pm subject to change OT available between 3pm – 5pm at x1.5 Permanent position will be offered to the right person
