3 Month + Contract Position - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm
The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Pipe fitter Welder to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a process pipework installation and plant maintenance project in Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 8NQ.
Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter welder you will be working on site at a waste recycling facility in Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 8NQ. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding 1" to 4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework, with a small amount of schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter along with carbon steel up to 6". Other duties will include fabricating brackets and associated supports along with assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary.
About You
Based ideally in the West Midlands you will need to live within a commutable distance of WS11 8NQ. Demonstrable experience of fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment. You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's a definite advantage.
