Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in mechanical installations? Engineering Direct Ltd are recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading engineering client, overseeing projects across the North and North West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare site-specific risk assessments and method statements
- Review and distribute safety certification and documentation
- Procure plant materials and accessories, negotiating for competitive costs
- Oversee installation of materials to client drawings and instructions
- Test installed services and manage certification/documentation
- Control project costs and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Liaise with line management and address project issues
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in mechanical installations (pipework, steelworks, tank building, chillers, boilers, pharmaceutical industry)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Familiarity with industry terminology, standards, and regulations
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
