Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
* Measure and mark sheet metal according to template for cutting and installation
* Cut, shape and fit sheet metal into ductwork using hand and power tools
* Install ductwork and associated equipment according to specifications and building codes
* Inspect and test installed ductwork to ensure proper airflow and adherence to safety standards
* Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional demeanor while interacting with clients
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a duct fitter or in a similar role
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools
* Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
* Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
* Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Availability to work flexible hours and overtime if necessary
