Covering all the major industrial sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors and major engineering firms.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager with process pipework and plant installation experience to join the company, supporting major mechanical installation projects across the UK, while based in Stirchley, Birmingham, B30 2JL.
DutiesAs an experienced and qualified Contracts Manager, you will oversee process pipework and plant installation projects across food and beverage sites in the Midlands and South of England. Your primary responsibility will be managing three project engineers across eight sites, ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and execution of all projects - from initial marketing engagement through quotation, negotiation, delivery, cost control, invoicing, and final acceptance. This role involves identifying projects and tenders, driving successful delivery in line with scope, budget, quality standards, schedule, and completion requirements. You will manage all phases, including design, engineering, construction, handover, and commercial aspects. You will also be accountable for procurement, purchasing, and technical elements while developing key customer relationships through regular reviews of contract performance, understanding and managing needs and shortfalls.
RequirementsPreferably, you will ideally be living in the areas of West Midlands / Worcestershire / Warwickshire or within a short commutable distance of Stirchley, Birmingham, B30 2JL. Proven experience of working with and managing pipework and process plant installations within a food and beverage production environment is essential for this role. Manager/Supervisor status with relevant technical discipline, experience and qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well established Company.
