The predicted salary is between 48000 - 84000 £ per year.

Your new company is an independent manufacturing business with several sites across the UK employing over 300 people. This newly created role supports large scale improvement projects.

You will report to the Operations Director and be responsible for managing and leading the maintenance strategy including capital expenditure, engineering projects and resource planning. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, reviewing processes, procedures, and standards across the site and take a proactive approach to implementing change whilst maintaining a high level of standards, safety and quality output.

You will support cross-functional departments in the delivery of their objectives, ensuring all necessary housekeeping standards are achieved. Leading the maintenance strategy for planned preventative and reactive maintenance to actively reduce downtime. You will have control over the engineering budget, spend, ordering of products, capex projects and resource planning to meet strict deadlines, also supporting the delivery of capital and strategic projects.

You will manage contractors and third party suppliers whilst encouraging a safety-first and compliant environment across the site and with third parties ensuring any contractors and suppliers adhere to the same principles.
