The predicted salary is between 50000 - 50000 ÂŁ per year.

Up to ÂŁ50,000 per annum plus performance bonus and fantastic benefits. 40 hours per week across 5 days (some weekend and on-call). A driving license is required for this role.

Our Catering Equipment Engineer installs, maintains, inspects and repairs catering & hospitality equipment across our stunning estate—keeping our hotel, restaurants and guest experiences running flawlessly. You’ll handle planned maintenance and jump on urgent call-outs, working with everything from coffee machines to ovens, supporting a best-in-class operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hospitality catering equipment.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to emergency repairs and breakdowns.
  • Install, repair and service dishwashers, ovens, coffee machines, glasswashers and refrigerators.
  • Oversee subcontractors during new equipment installations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across domestic and commercial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records via our CMMS.
  • Provide wider support to the engineering team for estate-wide operational needs.

What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience servicing catering/hospitality equipment in premium, residential, heritage or hotel settings.
  • Strong fault-finding skills with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Able to work independently, including sourcing/ordering parts; collaborative team player.
  • Polished, professional and respectful—comfortable in a luxury environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable, happy to support weekends and participate in on-call rota.
  • Comfortable in confined spaces and capable of safe heavy lifting.
  • Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 (Plumbing & Heating) or equivalent; Gas Safe a plus.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

The Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining and safeguarding company assets, including buildings, IT infrastructure, mechanical plant, and vehicles.
