Engineering @365 is working with a specialist engineering business that manufactures and supplies control solutions across various sectors. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support both site-based and workshop operations.

About the role: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector with a fabrication and welding background to join a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections throughout production, ensuring products meet customer and company requirements, and working closely with operational teams to drive quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet required specifications
  • Complete inspection documentation and maintain quality records
  • Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns
  • Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Carry out dimensional inspections using a variety of measuring equipment
  • Raise, track, and close quality-related issues as required
  • Perform testing and verification activities in line with company procedures
  • Maintain production documentation and traceability records
