Engineering @365 is working with a well-established business operating within the industrial supply and manufacturing sector, delivering essential components and solutions to a diverse customer base. The company is now seeking a Quality Engineer to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously improve quality procedures, standards and controls to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Manage internal and external NCRs, driving root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions in collaboration with customers and suppliers.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing performance through data analysis, reporting and structured problem-solving to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Define and maintain effective inspection, measurement and testing processes, including line-side checks and audits.
- Train and support production and internal teams in quality systems, procedures and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality documentation, registers and reporting, supporting audits and continuous improvement activities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors and suppliers, including supporting supplier audits and qualification with Procurement.
- Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement, leading initiatives to reduce waste and deliver measurable business benefits.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a quality engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Diploma or Degree level qualification
- Experience with ISO9001
- Green/Black Belt Six Sigma Certified
