Engineering @ 365 is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturing business based in Loughborough. Due to continued growth and increased production demand, they are looking to add an experienced Press Brake Machinist to their afternoon shift team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Press Brake Machinist with experience setting and operating press brake machinery within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be confident with machine set-up, tooling changes, and editing programmes directly at the machine. You will be producing precision components to engineering specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machinery safely and efficiently
- Edit and adjust tooling and machine settings as required
- Carry out online editing of programmes at the machine
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Manufacture components to precise tolerances and quality standards
- Perform routine quality checks and inspections on finished parts
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing targets
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant work area
