Engineering @365 is working with a well-established manufacturing business who, due to continued growth, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its quality team and support the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspection activities in line with daily and weekly inspection plans to support production schedules.
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 internal quality management system requirements at all times.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of parts to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use detailed engineering drawings and composite lay-up tables during inspection activities.
- Support the reduction of waste and inefficiencies through proactive quality involvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately record inspection results and report non-conformances in line with internal procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inspection and work area, ensuring waste is removed at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and replenish consumable stock levels as required.
- Liaise with Stores and Despatch teams to ensure the smooth flow of inspected materials.
- Comply fully with Health & Safety policies and promote safe working practices at all times.
- Support with any other reasonable duties as requested.
What weβre looking for:
- GCSE or A-Level qualifications, or equivalent practical experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing (preferred).
- Experience using inspection software such as PolyWorks Inspector or PowerInspect, ideally in conjunction with a Faro Arm.
