Engineering @ 365 are working with a fast-paced, forward-thinking manufacturer seeking to add a skilled CAD Technician to their production team, working alongside a busy team of hardworking, capable individuals.
This role centres around transposing customer artwork, needs, and designs into final production, from initial drawing through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing drawings for customers using 2D CAD software.
- Interpreting customer and estimator descriptions to develop accurate designs.
- Producing visuals to be used in the manufacture of the final product.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure files are produced correctly.
Experience and Characteristics Required
- Experience with 2D CAD software.
- Vigilant with strong attention to detail.
- Able to use own initiative with good problem-solving ability.
- Understanding of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Corel Draw X7, Adobe Illustrator CS6, or Rhino 3D advantageous, although not essential.
