A hands-on Design Coordinator for a leading structural and architectural steel fabrication company in Leicester. This is a pivotal role where your technical knowledge and organisational skills will directly impact project delivery and client satisfaction.
You’ll be the central point in the design office, managing workloads for in-house detailers and external contractors, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing technical insight during drawing consultations and client meetings. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prioritise workload for in-house detailers and external contractors
- Track and manage design deliverables to ensure deadlines are met

- Excellent communication skills with internal teams, contractors, and clients
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Tekla experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of fabrication and build processes is a plus
