Engineering @ 365 are working with a Leicester-based manufacturer of acrylic point-of-sale display units for retail. As demand continues to grow, they are seeking to add two skilled individuals to their production team: a CNC Router Programmer/Setter and a CNC Router Operator/Setter. Both roles centre around operating an SCM Router within a point-of-sale (POS) manufacturing environment, producing acrylic and woodwork displays. Opportunity 1: CNC Router Programmer/Setter This role is suited to a more experienced candidate who will take the lead on programming displays, alongside setting and operating the SCM Router. Key Responsibilities: * Programming acrylic and woodwork displays using Alphacam software. * Setting and running CNC machines to produce displays. * Working from technical drawings and from visuals. * Operating the SCM Router within a POS environment. Opportunity 2: CNC Router Operator/Setter This role is suited to a candidate with a strong hands-on fabrication background, focused on setting and operating the SCM Router, with the opportunity to develop programming skills over time. Key Responsibilities: * Setting and operating a SCM Router to produce acrylic and woodwork displays. * Working from technical drawings and from visuals. * Setting and running CNC machines when necessary. * Supporting the wider production team during busy periods. Experience and Characteristics Required (Both Roles): * Able to follow instructions and work well in a team or with minimal supervision. * Helpful, enthusiastic, reliable, polite and adaptable. * Good communication skills in the English language. * Fully conversant with, and good experience and knowledge of, acrylic/wood fabrication. Qualifications and Experience: * Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a point-of-sale (POS) manufacturing environment. * GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
