An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installation Technician to join a world leading specialist SME engineering company. Using a carefully selected range of products and services they are delivering innovative, best practice solutions to a host of industries both in the UK and worldwide including: Construction, Higher Education, Formula 1, Machine Tools, Aerospace, Renewable Energy (Onshore & Offshore), Automotive and Defence, to name but a few.
The role of a Installation Technician will involve:
- High Precision machines & equipment installation/assembly
- Bed plate Installation
- Lifting Operations (inc. operating overhead cranes, slinging)
- Electrical Work Packages
- Major Projects: Full turnkey Test Facilities, Vibration isolation and Acoustic systems
- On/offshore specialist grouting services
- Turbine/Generator retrofitting and alignment/installation
- Metrology (dimensional inspection)
To be considered for this role of an Installation Technician you must:
- Work well in a team and individually.
- Be positive and proactive.
- Be flexible with working away.
- CSCS card holder.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SSSTS, IPAF and First Aid qualifications not mandatory but beneficial, opportunity to be put through SMSTS qualification for the right candidate.
- Mechanical and/or Civil engineering qualifications and/or experience.
