Engineering @ 365 is currently working with a well-established injection moulding company based in South Leicestershire, recruiting for an Injection Moulding Setter on a permanent night shift basis.
As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for setting and optimising multiple Arburg moulding machines fitted with supporting robotics. Working on a dedicated night shift, you will ensure machines are set in line with job specifications, maintaining quality and efficiency while supporting the overall operation of the factory.
Key Responsibilities:- Set and change over injection moulding machines in line with job cards and production requirements.
- Work with Arburg machines and associated robotic systems.
- Edit and adjust tooling to meet job specifications.
- Carry out first-off inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Complete all relevant paperwork in line with production and quality procedures.
- Support machine operation when setting activities are not required.
- Prepare machines for upcoming production runs.
- Assist with packaging of finished components when required.
- Support the smooth running of the factory during the night shift.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet production targets.
- Previous experience setting injection moulding machines is essential.
- Experience working with Arburg machines and robotics is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and follow job cards and production documentation.
- Experience carrying out quality inspections and using measuring equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on night shifts.
- Flexible and proactive approach to supporting different areas of the business.
- Good communication skills along with numeracy and literacy abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
