Engineering @365 is working with a leading construction machinery dealership who, due to continued growth, is seeking a Field Service Engineer who can work independently across a designated territory.

About the role: This is a hands-on, field-based role involving the diagnostics, servicing, and repair of construction, agricultural, industrial, heavy line, and recycling equipment at customer sites. This opportunity would suit a highly skilled plant engineer with strong mechanical and diagnostic experience who enjoys problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out machine diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to equipment to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults using laptop-based diagnostic systems
  • Complete repairs efficiently with a first time fix approach
  • Accurately record job information using PDA systems
  • Liaise with manufacturers and internal teams regarding technical support and updates
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations

  • Proven experience in heavy plant machinery or construction equipment diagnostics, servicing, and repair
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
