We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer for our client. This position involves assembling and wiring electrical control panels in line with technical specifications and industry standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality electrical assemblies while maintaining safety and efficiency within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Review parts lists and verify measurements and specifications prior to assembly.
- Assemble electrical components accurately and securely within control panels.
- Wire components in accordance with approved wiring schematics.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, carrying out repairs where necessary.
- Perform routine checks and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company and industry health and safety regulations.
- Use materials and resources efficiently to minimise waste.
- Previous experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly (required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and relevant workshop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.
