Engineering @ 365 are working with an established production company seeking an experienced Acrylic Fabricator / General Operative to join their production team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Job Overview
This is a hands‑on role within a busy production environment, focused on point‑of‑sale (POS) fabrication and acrylic prototyping.
You will be fully conversant with acrylic fabrication techniques and comfortable working with a wide range of tools and equipment to produce high‑quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and prototyping of acrylic point‑of‑sale (POS) products.
- Safe and competent use of saws and routers.
- Use of manual and powered hand tools.
- Accurate use of measuring equipment.
- Operation of heat benders for acrylic shaping.
- Use of gluing syringes for precision bonding.
- Use of diamond and flame polishers for finishing.
- Use of UV bonding equipment.
Experience and Characteristics Required
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team or with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit with good eyesight and strong manual dexterity.
- A positive attitude to work.
- Previous experience in point‑of‑sale (POS) fabrication and production work.
- Helpful, enthusiastic, reliable, polite and adaptable.
- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
