Key Responsibilities
Maintain the all-tool fitting equipment, ensure equipment is safe before use and is also left safe for the next user.
Report all tool issues identified whilst tool fitting.
Control all production scrap & downtime; record the information on the ERP system
Complete all BD set-ups in the required time scale
Carryout first-off checks before production
Report any tooling issues when completing set-ups and during production runs
Monitor BD production parts, react to changing trends, to maximise efficiency
Monitor the ERP system closely and ensure all machines are running on the standard cycle time, to ensure the production plan is maintained
Complete all relevant checks, Steam leak reports, machine condition, 5s and any others checks required
Fault find process issues efficiently, ensuring the root cause is always found and reported or addressed
Deputise for the Process Technicians
Other duties as requested by management
Tool changing
Maintain the all-tool fitting equipment, ensure equipment is safe before use and is also left safe for the next user
Responsible for tool changing all BD tools as required
Responsible for stripping, repairing, cleaning and servicing all BD moulds to meet the 6 monthly schedule
Complete relevant paperwork as required

10pm – 6am (Sun-Thurs)
6am – 2pm (Mon to Fri)
