Scope:
Responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring that customers receive their orders on time and correct.
Role Accountabilities:
- Load and unload all deliveries as instructed whilst following all safe systems of work and issue correct paperwork.
- Book in all finished goods using the scanners.
- Visually check all finished goods / packaging is acceptable before stacking finished goods away into the correct locations.
- All incoming and outgoing deliveries are to be loaded in the specified time which is stated on the warehouse despatch sheet.
- All paperwork for incoming and outgoing deliveries must be signed and completed.
- All finished goods are to be scanned out when loading.
- Any other reasonable duties.
Must Haves:
- General awareness of the Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Current up to date forklift licence.
- Be motivated and committed, adopt a flexible approach to the business requirements.
- Be able to work under instruction by yourself or as part of a team.
- Prepared to be re-assigned to any part of the business, when required to do so.
- Strive to succeed on a personal level.
- Show willingness to be trained on new aspects of the tasks involved.
- Adopt and maintain good housekeeping.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Thursday 6.00 - 14.00, Friday 6.00 - 12.00 rotating Monday to Thursday 14.00 - 22.00, Friday 12.00 - 18.00. You may be required to work nightshift on occasions.
