We’re working with a leading group who are expanding across the Eastern Counties and looking to bring a SHE Advisor into their team. This is a great opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation, steady growth, and a genuine commitment to safety culture.

You’ll split your time between the regional office and several active construction sites, mainly across Cambridge but stretching out to the South/East. Your role is simple: keep people safe, keep standards high, and help drive a positive, proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Being the go-to person for safety support across site and office teams
  • Getting involved in pre-start meetings and helping shape decisions from day one
  • Making sure statutory requirements and company standards are fully met
  • Raising any serious risks or issues with senior management promptly
  • Driving a positive safety culture and encouraging best practice across the region
  • Creating, reviewing and communicating RAMS so teams understand what’s required
  • Completing routine site inspections, audits and following up any actions needed
  • Spotting training gaps and delivering on-site sessions and toolbox talks
  • Carrying out investigations into incidents and near-misses
  • Ensuring projects operate in line with CDM and wider legal requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • NEBOSH, IOSH or another recognised Health & Safety qualification
  • Previous experience working as a SHE / H&S Advisor within construction or similar
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Competent IT and reporting skills, with experience in monitoring audits
  • The ability to work independently while supporting wider regional objectives
  • A full, clean driving licence

What’s On Offer

  • Company car or car allowance
  • Strong long-term career prospects within a growing regional division
  • A varied role covering multiple sites and project types
