Senior Building Surveyor – Dilapidations Specialist
Location: London (Hybrid, with site visits across the South East)
Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 + package

The Role
My client, a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, is looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor with a proven track record in commercial dilapidations. You’ll take the lead on complex landlord and tenant matters, advising institutional investors, funds, and corporate occupiers on lease obligations, settlements, and exit strategies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered surveyor to join a growing consultancy team, working on high-profile office, retail, and industrial assets across London and the Home Counties.

What You’ll Bring
- MRICS Chartered Surveyor (essential)
- Strong experience preparing and negotiating Schedules of Dilapidations (landlord and tenant sides)
- Knowledge of Section 18 valuations and lease exit strategy
- Broad commercial property consultancy background (office, retail, industrial)
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to advise senior stakeholders and negotiate settlements
- Additional experience in technical due diligence, reinstatement cost assessments, or contract administration would be advantageous
