Looking for a creative artwork role where you can get stuck into varied, high-quality projects without getting lost in layers of process? Our client, a well-established creative agency we’ve worked with for many years, is looking for a talented Mid to Senior Creative Artworker to join their friendly studio team on a 12–15 month maternity cover contract.
You’ll help create, adapt and prepare artwork across print, packaging, POS, events, exhibitions, marketing collateral, brand rollouts and digital assets. It’s a hands‑on production role where accuracy, good organisation and a calm, practical approach are key.
Working closely with a small, experienced team, you’ll take projects from supplied creative through to final artwork, making sure files are accurate, production‑ready and delivered on time.
About You
- Solid creative artwork experience in an agency, studio, print, production or in‑house environment
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good print production knowledge and confidence preparing files for output
- A careful eye for detail and the ability to juggle several projects at once
- A positive, collaborative approach and the confidence to work independently when needed
- Experience with packaging, retail graphics or digital assets would be useful, but it isn’t essential.
Contract & Location
- 12–15 month fixed‑term maternity cover contract
- Immediate start available
- Full‑time and 100% office‑based
- Full UK driving licence required
- The role is likely to suit someone within around 30–40 minutes of the studio, including Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Hadleigh, Stowmarket, Felixstowe, Chelmsford, Braintree, Clacton‑on‑Sea and surrounding areas across Suffolk and North Essex.
- There may also be scope for the role to develop into a temporary or permanent position after the contract, depending on business needs.
