We are partnered with a renowned architectural practice with a strong design focus, looking for exceptional Mid to Senior level 3D Architectural CGI Artists capable of producing near photorealistic exterior imagery for architecture and the built environment. This is an exterior-first CGI position, working closely with the practice’s architectural and design teams.
You will be collaborating on very high-end projects for UK and international clients, working on schemes from around the world across property, design, luxury real estate, architecture and wider built environment sectors. You will play a key role in how designs are communicated, understood and experienced by clients and stakeholders globally.
This role requires you to be based in the UK, ideally in London or on the north, south or eastern sides of London or the Home Counties. We are considering UK-based residents only and you will need a UK driving licence.
Responsibilities- Work within a talented, design-led team of senior architectural CGI artists and architects, producing imagery to the highest standard.
- Create visuals that allow clients, stakeholders and wider project teams to fully understand and immerse themselves in the practice’s proposals, clearly communicating design intent, spatial qualities and the experience of the architecture across global projects.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of producing top-quality architectural and built environment imagery for commercial projects, ideally including international work.
- Collaborate closely with architects and designers, contributing to design development as well as final presentation imagery throughout every stage of the planning and design cycle – from early concept and feasibility through to detailed design and pre-delivery.
- Use tools such as Chaos Vantage to explore, review and present real-time scenes, supporting design decisions and client presentations.
We are looking for strong communicators who are confident in their ability, self‑motivated and committed to delivering the highest quality work at all times. The team values imagery that is rooted in design integrity, exacting measurements, geographic relevance and cultural accuracy, with compositions that set the scene, tell a story and enable viewers to fully imagine and engage with a project.
Our partner practice has become renowned for the quality of its visual communication and does not settle for less. The team is continually raising the bar, pushing the limits of what is possible in architectural visualisation, and this is a key reason their clients return.
Skills and experience- Candidates must have 5+ years of professional, commercial experience with all of the following:
- 3ds Max
- V‑Ray
- Photoshop – exceptional level
- Chaos Vantage – practical, production-level experience
- After Effects
- Premiere
- AutoCAD (or other CAD packages used in architectural practice)
We welcome applications from across the UK, but you must be able to attend the studio in London so if you are out of London you need to relocate to a commutable distance. If you are prepared to relocate within a commuting distance, you are encouraged to apply. Otherwise, a north, east or south London location is desirable.
This is a full‑time, permanent office-based role with standard working hours of 9:00–17:30. All applications are handled in the strictest confidence.
We are particularly keen to hear from mid‑level and senior artists with relevant portfolios who are interested in working within a design practice environment rather than a standalone CGI studio. We also have similar opportunities at varying levels from time to time, so please register your detail even if this exact role is not a perfect fit.
You will be required to work as a 360‑degree artist in this role, contributing across concept development, design support and final presentation imagery.
