Responsibilities
- Manage accounting for EUK Ltd and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with ENGIE policies and IFRS.
- Maintain accurate SAP ledgers up to trial balance, including foreign currency, tax, and deferred tax entries.
- Complete monthly reporting and analysis of intra group movements.
- Prepare high quality management accounts to support statutory reporting and audits.
- Work closely with Group Treasury on bank reconciliations, postings, and cash flow forecasting.
- Support tax return submissions and ensure accurate tracking of realised vs. unrealised profits.
- Assess impairment considerations and support group restructuring activities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and support continuous process and SAP system improvements.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects within the finance function.
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified CIMA/ACCA.
- Experience in managing key business and client relationships.
- Good technical knowledge and accounting skills, in IFRSs and UK law.
- Ability to develop and apply internal control frameworks.
- Excellent planning and administration skills.
- Well‑developed influencing and communication skills.
- Project/programme management skills.
- Experience in challenging the status quo and fostering an innovative mindset within teams.
