As our new SHEQ Coordinator at the Stublach Site, you will play a crucial role in championing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, directly contributing to our mission of responsible energy management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and administer SHEQ reporting systems, ensuring high standards across Storengy UK
- Facilitate SHEQ event investigations, root cause analysis, and improvement actions
- Develop and issue SHEQ communications across the business
- Support the UK SHEQ Manager with Internal Management System (IMS) application
- Contribute to safety initiatives, promoting 'One Safety' and 'Safety Essentials' programmes
- Compile and monitor SHEQ statistics for group reporting
- Oversee supplier and sub-contractor prequalification evaluations for SHEQ
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a lead SHEQ functional role (COMAH Site experience preferred)
- NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety (or working towards) or equivalent SHE qualification
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK SHE legislation, standards, and practices
- Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong ability to apply safety rules and procedures
- Excellent communication skills for training development and delivery
- Internal Auditor Qualification with experience in system-level audits
- Knowledge of ISO Management standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and implementation experience
