Goods in/Stores Team leader

You will:

Deliver supervision, training and direct assistance to Goods In/ Warehouse operations which include, but are not limited to:

• Loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, inventory control and product storage.
• Lead by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
• Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse and despatch teams.
• Reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system, including stock investigation and stock status attributes.
• Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
• Issue goods using our business software system.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and ensure all warehouse equipment is operational.

Requirements for the Role

Qualifications and experience

• Previous warehouse supervisory experience preferred
• FLT counterbalance licence preferable

Knowledge and technical skills

• Experience with 123 software is desirable (however, training can be provided)

Other requirements

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
