Our team is growing, and we need skilled professionals who bring structure, precision, and purpose to complex projects. We are looking for three Project Document Controllers to join our Refurbishment Project team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our project documentation, ensuring information flows seamlessly between teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Your work will directly support project delivery and quality standards.
Summary of what you will do:
- Coordinate and track all project submittals and transmittals, ensuring timely communication that meets contractual and operational requirements.
- Manage and develop the Project Document Management System, maintaining registers, policies, and electronic filing processes.
- Prepare documentation for meetings, site visits, and project communications, including minute taking and action tracking.
- Support KPI monitoring and reporting by gathering data and feeding information into the project reporting system.
- Deliver training on the Document Management System to project team members and other document controllers across the business.
- Liaise with contractors, the project manager, and cross-functional teams to maintain core project documents such as risk registers and management plans.
- Champion document control best practices and conduct audits to ensure adherence to agreed standards and processes.
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven experience in document control and management systems within industrial or engineering environments.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, including Office and Project, and experience with Electronic Document Management Systems.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising at all levels internally and externally.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a can-do attitude and high degree of responsibility and discretion.
- Experience working in a power station, engineering operations, or similar technical project environment.
- Desirable: ONC or equivalent in an Engineering or Commercial discipline, or a Project Management qualification.
Location: These are on-site roles based at our operational facility at Dinorwig, however some flexibility may be required to support our facility at Ffestiniog if required.
