b Overview /b p In this role you defend ENGIE’s hydro assets by strengthening cyber security across IT and OT environments. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to implement controls, detect and respond to incidents, and support secure configurations and testing. The position offers growth in a mission-driven, industrial setting focused on clean energy and critical infrastructure protection. You will contribute to a broader IT strategy while delivering value through controlled, timely projects. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salary /li li career progression /li li diverse range of missions /li li meaningful work contributing to UK clean energy future /li li friendly, supportive team environment /li li professional development and certifications /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Support the implementation and continuous improvement of cyber security controls across IT and OT environments /li li Assist with security incident detection, investigation, and response activities /li li Conduct vulnerability management activities including scanning and remediation tracking /li li Support deployment of security solutions such as MFA, endpoint protection, privileged access management, and monitoring tools /li li Assist with secure configuration of equipment and participate in security testing and validation activities /li li Deliver small projects within agreed timescales and contribute to IT strategy and investment plans /li li Provide first-line technical support and guidance on cyber security best practices /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computing, or Electronic Engineering /li li Hands-on experience maintaining cyber security controls in operational environments /li li Good knowledge of cyber security principles, especially Industrial Cyber Security and OT environments /li li Familiarity with Windows PC and Server, networking protocols, and Android device configuration /li li Understanding of power industry operations and IT systems support processes /li li Strong communication skills and ability to work in multifunctional teams /li li Eagerness to learn and proactive problem-solving approach /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li team collaboration /li li proactive problem-solving /li li Industrial OT security /li li cyber security controls /li li vulnerability management /li /ul
