Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and provide expert guidance on procurement matters.
- Develop and implement category management strategies for infrastructure and civil categories.
- Oversee the sourcing pipeline and forecast activities, supporting the team where needed.
- Collaborate with global category teams to maximize value through joint procurement efforts.
- Contribute to process improvement, simplification, and reinforcement of existing procedures.
- Prepare and present procurement strategies, risks, and savings to senior management.
- Develop and maintain systems to ensure effective service delivery and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5‑7 years of procurement experience in CAPEX projects and non‑CAPEX spend in different sectors, delivering high‑value/critical sourcing projects.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Procurement, or Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and contract management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and e‑procurement tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Strong self‑starter with demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process automation.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft 365 suite; familiarity with Power BI or Power Automate.
- Willingness to work towards a Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualification.
