These facilities supply eco-friendly energy to residences and businesses in the area.

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and driven Agriculture, Sustainability & Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong agricultural background and a passion for sustainability. You will play a key role in managing crop and digestate logistics, supporting the feedstock and sustainability teams, and maintaining strong relationships with farmers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee digestate logistics, operations, and spreading activities.
  • Coordinate crop and feedstock logistics, including chicken litter.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with farmers and growers.
  • Key role in supporting the Sustainability Officer in compliance with the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification.
  • Support compliance with RHI.
  • Collect and analyse agronomic data to support sustainability calculations and supplier audits.
  • Assist with crop trials and promote best agricultural practices.
  • Monitor and report on crop quality and storage conditions.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Use Excel and other IT systems to manage data, raise purchase orders, and resolve invoice queries.
  • Support the business development team with new projects.
  • Work with the sustainability team to successfully deliver the Green Gas Support Scheme across the new sites.

Required Skills:

  • Agricultural qualification or background (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter with excellent business acumen and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
  • A valid driving licence is essential.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in crop quality analysis and sustainability reporting.
  • Familiarity with PO systems and handling invoice queries.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
